About Me
Grew up in the Philippines and started playing bass at 11 years old. Started off playing covers of heavy metal/thrash bands (Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax) and later joined an alternative band doing covers of Nirvana, Self, Stone Temple Pilots, etc…
Moved to New York when I was 19 and got heavy into Jazz/fusion and progressive rock. Studied at the Bass Collective, New School, and took private instructions with Keith Carrol. Attented the 5-week program at Berklee in the summer of 2000 and came back Spring 2001 as a full-time student.
Now 31 years old, a number of album credits under my belt and played shows ranging from Heavy Metal to klezmer music. Still more stuff to learn…
