Music began for me at the age of 3 when my father began teaching me the piano. My thirst for musical knowledge and experience was continuously sated by my father who is a music teacher, fortunately for me. I began French Horn in 5th grade so I could participate in the elementary band and I excelled enough to participate in multiple New York All-State events throughout my high school music career. I also practiced singing and taught myself guitar well enough to hold my own in performance situations. I originally began writing songs around the time I noticed the existence of females. Due to this “coincidence,” many of my first songs were horrible love ballads that made no musical sense. However, through consistent writing and critical listening, I brought my songwriting up to a level that I am proud of today and I am currently a songwriting major here at Berklee.
I am originally from Upstate New York in a small town called Salem.
I am a piano principal at Berklee College of Music. My original songs sound similar to Coldplay with a more acoustic flavor.
