About Me

Colin Sullivan is an 19 year old multi-instrumentalist from Connecticut. His principal instrument is guitar, but he is also fluent in Piano, Bass, and Drums.

Colin is the guitarist in The Guru, a Disco Rock band well know in Connecticut. Their explosive live shows incorporate an energetic and dance-consumed experience for the ears.

Colin, being one of the chief writers of the band, is also active in composing his own songs and projects on the side. He plays and writes music of all genres including Rock, Fusion, Jazz, Funk, Soul, and Pop.

Lead Guitarist for The Guru

January 2008 to Present (over 5 years)

I have been playing in The Guru for about 4 years. We started out small as just a few friends jamming, but quickly turned serious. This past summer we have been fortunate enough to play many festivals including B.O.M.B. Fest, alongside artists; Weezer, Snoop Dogg, Portugal.The Man, and Wiz Khalifa.
