About Me
A native from San Francisco, California, Ashley Peterson began singing before she could speak and playing the piano at the age of 6. Performing at family weddings and funerals was an honor for her that soon expanded into a professional job.
Following her passion for music, language and travel, Ashley studied Spanish and flamenco guitar for two months in Spain. She also spent a year abroad in Mexico, polishing her Spanish and exposing herself to latin jazz, bossa nova, and Mexican folk music or Boleros, performing with and learning from friends she met along the way.
Upon returning home, Ashley decided to further her musical studies at Berklee College of Music where she is now pursuing songwriting.
Ashley has a musical gift and transcends boundaries while she performs, elevating those who listen to higher states of consciousness.
