On June 1st 2014, I retired as a Percussionist from the United States Army Band Field with over 20 years of service. Some of the most rewarding moments of my career have included performing and studying internationally with other musicians. Within the last five years of my Army career I had the opportunity to perform alongside the Red Army Choir and Band in Sakhalin, Russia; traveled to Shanghai, China as part of our International Outreach Program where we conducted clinics and performed for the students of the Dynamix Performing Arts Academy; conducted a series of clinics in Jazz Studies to the children of the greater Baghdad area of Iraq; and performed with the Vietnam People’s Army Ceremonial Military Band in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.
One of my goals in pursuing a Music Production degree from Berklee is to gain the skills needed to create high quality recordings that will help others share their music with the rest of the world. My Online Studio that I opened to help me achieve this dream is R&R Hawaii Music Studio at www.rrhawaiimusicstudio.com
