Randy Hetlage has studied privately or in group class or seminar with some of the world’s most prominent musicians and guitarists. Included in this list are:

Joe pass, Joe Diorio, Tal Farlow, Howard Roberts, Robben Ford, Scott Henderson, Allan Holdsworth, Jim Kelly, Steve Freeman, Bob Doezema, Kenneth Taft, Steve Vogel, Ron Eshete, Steve Vai, Mick Goodrick, Pat Martino, Jennifer Batten, Steve Travoto, Don Mock, John Scofield, Steve Moorse, Gary Burton, Chick Corea, Al DiMiola, Jeff Berlin, Bunny Burnell, John McGlaughlin, and many more.

With a focus on jazz and a solid grounding in music theory, many of his students have become very successful musicians themselves, several winning music scholarships, and some touring the Americas opening for prominent rock bands.

Randy has played with too many bands to list, and has done radio and T.V. spots.
