Hello, my name is Bill Seidman. Playing and writing music has to be one of my favorite or if not my favorite thing to do in the world. After 4 years, I have graduated from the Berklee College of Music with a bachelor’s degree in the field of Contemporary Writing and Production. Besides playing the drums and other percussion instruments, I have honed and developed my skills as a writer/arranger and even as some one who mixes with programs such as digital performer, pro tools, logic, etc.
The things I really enjoy writing for is images and videos. I like giving emotion and feeling to make things seem more real than they are. If I get an emotion out of someone with my music, whether it’d be happy or sad, i’ll know that it was a success.
My first gig was at the age of 12 in front of my middle school at a fund raiser. After that I started playing more gigs around long island,NY. When I arrived at Berklee, it was everything I thought it would be. An institution to help musicians increase the knowledge and to help them improve on their skills as players and as listeners. The harmony and ear training classes have been very helpful while here at Berklee. They’ve helped me understand other styles of music in a bettter. The private lessons have made me become a better drummer in my chops and in my tonality.
