Hello, I’m Derek and my passion is music.

Here at Berklee I have made a move to expand my musical horizons and get an education in something I really love. Teaching guitar really helped me make this step, as I always wanted to be the best instructor I could be. It has also helped me take a huge step in my guitar playing as I write music as well. I am a perfectionist so I’m definitely good at criticizing my own work, I know it’s not perfect but hearing some constructive criticism from others is something I always appreciate.
