About Me

David Milnes is an accomplished songwriter and composer. Writing for artists across the country, David has proven himself to be a reliable source of original marketable music.
David is currently a High School Choral Director in Orange, NJ.
David plays and sings his music with his trio of fellow Berklee Alum Charlie Cervone and Jay Lunadri.
He also plays and sings backup for Bravo’s Platinum Hit star www.JohnnyMarnell.com
David is the keyboardist for Kevin Hammond and will be touring with him this summer.

Current

Music Educator for Orange Board of Education

September 2006 to Present (over 5 years)

I taught elementary my first year then moved to the high school were I am currently teaching. I teach chorus, intro to music, music theory and elements of digital recording. I wrote the k-8 general music curriculum and the high school music theory curriculum.

Music Director for Music Theater

1999 to Present (over 13 years)

I have been the music director for many shows over the past 15 years. I have worked in several professional equity theaters. I have provided many arrangements and compositions and was a member of the prestigious BMI Music Theater Workshop.

1999 to Present (over 13 years)

I am a professional keyboardist/pianist. My piano skills started to take off in high school where I was selected as first chair piano in the New Jersey All State Jazz Band. Since then I have grown as a musician on the piano and in the keyboard world. I love experimenting and creating new sounds.

Studio Musician for eJamming

2005 to 2006 (about a year)

eJamming is a service that allows people from around the globe to jam online provided they have the proper MIDI setup. I helped develop the project and led online jam sessions.
